Properly Diagnose Your Sleep Disorder With a Sleep Study
A sleep study is a test conducted to understand and diagnose your sleep disorder. At our new West Los Angeles Sleep Center, we offer our patients many different sleep study options depending on their needs. Typically, if you’re having a sleep study, it will be either an in-center sleep study or a home sleep study.
An In-Center sleep study is our most effective tool for diagnosing sleep disorders. If you’ve been recommended an in-center sleep study, you’ll be invited to spend the night our new West Los Angeles Sleep Center. It’s a lot like hotel, featuring amenities like:
- Spacious, private rooms
- Relaxing, comfortable beds
- Quick access to a shower and restroom
- Many comforts of home
You can spend your evening relaxing, and when you’re ready for bed, our technicians will set you up with the device used for your test. Once it’s prepared, our experts will monitor your sleeping and collect data remotely until you wake up in the morning. From here, our specialists can diagnose and begin treatment of your sleep disorder.
If you’e unable to spend an evening in our Sleep Center, you may be able to take a home sleep study. This type of study is also used to collect data, but is done over several nights in the comfort of your own home. If it’s been recommended that you have a home sleep test (HST), our experts will provide you with the equipment you need, as well as easy-to-follow instructions for successfully completing your HST. Live technical support will also be made available to you from 8-11PM on the night of your study (call 877-117-3377 ext. 180).
